Spinnerbait Fishing

A spinnerbait is a good lure to use for largemouths in heavy cover .You can cast it into the heavy weeds or brush and not worry about getting snagged, because the spinner shaft acts as a weed gaurd for the single hook.

There are two basic types of spinnerbaits. Single-spins, which have only one blade, and are a good all-around choice.

The second type is the tandem-spinner. Tandem-spinners have a pair blades that give the bait extra lift . They are the best choice for fishing over shallow weed tops .

Although spinnerbaits are usually considered a shallow water bait ,heavy models work well in water up to thirty feet deep .If you need a little extra depth ,add a pinch on sinker to the lower arm.

For extra attraction,I recomend adding a soft plastic grub to your bait.
